Being Filled with Him: A Spontaneous Psalm from the Holy Spirit

Holy, Holy Lord!

You were, You are, You will be forever.

Holy, Holy Lord!

Oh my God. My Lord. My Savior. You have opened the way into Your presence.  

You have opened the way to know You intimately. I do not have to stand afar off and see Your workings from a distance. I can come boldly and unashamedly into Your throne room, into Your presence through the Body and the Blood of Your Son!!

What gratitude I have. What great praise I give to You! I could have never earned or deserved such a privilege of being welcomed into Your presence. My sin would have always stood in the way. My guilt and shame would have always stood in the way. But by the Body and Blood of Your Son, all of this has been removed, and now I stand before you faultless and guiltless. I stand fully welcomed and accepted by You into Your presence. You have welcomed me not only into Your presence but also to sit with you. And not to sit in a lower place but in a place of honor and authority at Your very right hand! I am UNITED in Christ, Your Son, and I am seated IN Him. I now have a place at Your right hand in the Heavenlies.

I bow at Your feet in utter awe and gratitude. I bow at Your feet in complete humility and surrender. I bow at Your feet and draw near to know You and hear Your voice to me today. Today I WILL hear Your voice. I will not harden my heart. I will have faith in what you say. I will obey! I will not turn to the right or to the left. You give me courage to obey. You give me strength to press out into the deep. I will move into the deeper places in You. A deeper surrender. A deeper walk of love. A deeper commitment. A deeper love for You. A deeper knowing of You. A deeper moving with You.

You have made me alive. My life will never be the same. My life will shine with Your touch and filling of Glory! My life will radiate with Your goodness. My life will dance with your Joy! My life will be full and satisfying, giving Glory to Your name all of my days on this earth and into the life to come!

Holy, Holy Lord! You are Holy. You are mighty. You are the GREAT I AM. You are my God now and forever more! You are the One that I will worship. You are the Lord of all! I bow my knee to you and surrender my life to you. Joy fills my soul! Holy, Holy are You, my Lord!

This is a psalm that came out of my heart. You can experience this same outflowing of the Holy Spirit. He will speak or write or sing through you words of adoration and words of revelation. Take some time to get alone. Spend some time reading the Word and/or worshiping in song. Then let yourself yield to the words that are coming up from your heart… Say them, write them, sing them. Just stop, listen, and yield. We were meant to live like this in Christ.

Ephesians 5:19 TPT: And your heart will overflow with a joyful song to the Lord. Keep speaking to each other with words of scripture, singing Psalms with praises and spontaneous songs given by the Spirit!
