Cindy

McKinney

Cindy received Biblical and ministerial training at RHEMA Bible Training College, graduating first in 1986, then again in 2008 for a third-year specialty program. Alongside her husband, she’s been in ministry for 35 years, having been ordained as a minister in 1991. Currently she and her husband live and minister in Southeast Asia. Her ministry consists of teaching, exhorting, prayer, and worship.

In 1988, Cindy heard the call to minister to women. Initially this ministry was fulfilled through the churches she and her husband pastored, but in 2010 the focus shifted to hosting weekend women’s conferences, called Women of Glory. After moving overseas, the platform for ministering to women was changed yet again, and REST was dropped into Cindy’s heart in 2017. REST then morphed from solely in-person to an online venue in 2020 and began to have a global focus, with women attending from around the world.

Cindy says to all, “WELCOME to REST!”

Marlene

McGuirk

At 21, Marlene received the Lord, but for a while she tried living on “both sides of the fence.” It wasn’t until she turned 35 that she was wholly sold out to God.

She and her husband, Dan, have a heart for missions and ministering healing. After graduating from RHEMA Bible Training College in 2007, as a couple they traveled throughout the United States and to Colombia, Romania, Moldova, Mexico to minister on healing. They have seen God perform many miracles everywhere they go.

For several years, Marlene had a desire to minister specifically to women, and was able to step into that ministry on her first trip to Romania in 2012.

Marlene and her husband currently facilitate a home and Zoom Ekklesia (the Body of Christ), where the main focus is on the authority of the believer.

Jerrie Kelly

FOR 2024...Jerrie is taking a break from the REST Team for this year of REST.

Jerrie’s Biblical and ministerial training was undertaken at RHEMA Bible Training College and DOMATA (school of ministry). She ministers to women in prison in Oklahoma, and has served on the prayer lines at Kenneth Hagin Ministries Prayer Center for many years. She ministers by teaching, with prayer and flowing in demonstrations of the Holy Spirit.

Jerrie knows the reality of God’s joy and peace in the midst of life’s storms, having faced the deaths of her daughter and her husband. She truly has seen how God can bring beauty out of the ashes.

Kathi Ferguson

Kathi’s spiritual roots were in the Lutheran denomination in Iowa. Her late husband, Dale, came into the revelation of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, and Kathi followed suit in that experience eight years later. This revelation changed not only their lives, but the direction of their lives too.

Both Kathi and her husband went to RHEMA Bible Training College, graduating in 1995, after which she faithfully supported her husband in ministry until his passing in 2010. Together, they both had gone on missions trips, held home Bible studies, and did itinerant teaching and preaching.

Right now Kathi is a faithful prayer partner with her church prayer group where she attends at Spirit of Faith in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
